Relevance & discovery
How does the teaching stay present for a new generation?
Evaluate how the archive, current themes, and content formats can introduce new people to John’s teaching while preserving its context.
Ministry marketing audit · October 26, 2026
A focused review of Grace to You’s marketing, social landscape, and audience journey—to identify the right next moves and build a practical foundation for digital advertising.

01 / What we heard
In our conversation, the opportunity was bigger than growing a channel. It was helping Grace to You carry John MacArthur’s teaching to new audiences, deepen engagement, and understand which marketing investments best serve the ministry.
Relevance & discovery
Evaluate how the archive, current themes, and content formats can introduce new people to John’s teaching while preserving its context.
Trust & stewardship
Review official-channel clarity, content guardrails, and audience expectations. Any recommendation for additional accounts must justify its role and protect trust.
Weekly viewing
Assess discovery, packaging, repeat viewing, and the opportunity to support the weekly YouTube broadcast with paid promotion.
Meaningful engagement
Map the path into full sermons, relevant resources, email relationships, and voluntary giving—so success is defined by more than views.
These priorities reflect our October 26 conversation. The audit will validate performance and identify opportunities using available account data.
The audience journey
Social content, search, YouTube discovery, and potential paid promotion.
Full sermons, the weekly broadcast, and a reason to return.
A relevant resource, website visit, or email subscription.
Continued engagement and opportunities to support the ministry.
A proposed framework for the audit—not a required sequence for every person. The aim is to make the next step clear and useful, with giving as one expression of engagement.
02 / What we will review
We’ll connect the channels, content, and data already available, then identify the highest-value moves for your team and the right starting point for RIVIDIA’s digital advertising support. Open each area to explore the proposed scope.
Review Grace to You’s current positioning, channel roles, audience priorities, and organic marketing activity. Assess content themes, formats, calls to action, and available performance trends across the primary social channels.
Include a focused comparison of relevant ministries and adjacent teaching channels to identify useful patterns in discovery, presentation, and audience engagement—not to imitate their voice.
PositioningChannel rolesSocial landscapeReview available YouTube analytics, discovery sources, titles and thumbnails, audience retention, returning viewers, and the weekly broadcast’s place in the wider content mix.
Assess how monthly resource themes can connect viewing to a clear next step. Review clickable links, descriptions, and QR-code journeys across devices; confirm platform capabilities before recommending specific placements.
Weekly viewingAudience retentionResource pathwaysTrace representative journeys from social and YouTube into gty.org, full teaching, resource discovery, email signup, and giving or Grace Partner information. Review mobile usability and clarity at key handoff points.
Review email communications, welcome journeys, and any existing text program where available. Identify practical ways to help a new visitor stay connected without treating the ministry as an ecommerce funnel.
Website handoffsEmail & nurtureGiving pathwaysReview analytics and available channel reporting to distinguish reach from deeper engagement. Assess campaign links, QR reporting, conversion events, and visibility across the journey.
Recommend a measurement framework for qualified viewing, returning audiences, resource engagement, subscriptions, and giving where observable. Document attribution gaps and avoid treating correlations as proven causes.
BaselineMeaningful measuresTracking gapsAssess the opportunity to introduce paid media around the weekly YouTube broadcast and relevant resource journeys, informed by the audit findings and Grace to You’s priorities.
Recommend the initial objective, audience approach, channel mix, creative requirements, destination, measurement, and a proposed test budget. Identify prerequisites and the scope for RIVIDIA to manage the next phase; no campaign launches are included in this audit.

A documented review of the social landscape, channel performance, audience journeys, and measurement—with verified findings separated from hypotheses and data gaps.
A ranked set of recommendations, including near-term improvements, dependencies, and suggested ownership—shaped around the resources your team can realistically deploy.
A recommended first paid-media test, success measures, budget guidance, and a next-phase proposal for RIVIDIA’s support, grounded in the audit findings.
04 / Delivery process
Confirm ministry goals, audiences, systems, reporting period, access, and the questions the audit needs to answer.
Share emerging observations, resolve data gaps, and confirm that the recommendations address the priorities that matter most.
Walk through the findings and prioritized roadmap, then discuss the recommended digital advertising engagement.
Delivery target: 10 business days after required access and inputs are available. We’ll confirm the start date and meeting schedule during onboarding.
05 / Getting started
We’ll coordinate with Michael and the relevant team members to gather the minimum information needed. Read-only access or reporting exports are preferred where sufficient.
Missing sources will be documented, along with their effect on scope or timing. Access should be granted through each platform; passwords should not be emailed.
Use this checklist to plan the handoff. Checking a box does not grant access or start work.
Aggregate or de-identified reports are preferred. Donor-level personal data is not required. Checklist resets on reload.
06 / Investment & scope
This audit is the first step toward a focused digital advertising strategy for Grace to You. It will define where paid media can help, what needs to be in place, and how the ministry should measure progress.
One-time ministry marketing audit
10 business days after required access and inputs are available.
Includes assessment, action roadmap, digital advertising recommendation, and three alignment calls.
No ongoing commitment. Any future execution and media spend are separately scoped. Contracting, billing details, and payment terms will be confirmed before work begins.
